how to copy text from xming to windows

To copy selected text within a command-line window in xming:

  1. to copy the text, use Alt + Shift + C
  2. to paste into windows, use the normal Ctrl + V

    Have you tried enabling it using the “-clipboard” on the XLauch of Xming or the command line ? and if not, check this post out which specifies a few tips on Copy + Paste and Alt + Tab functions.

    I used Alt + Shift + C to copy the text xming Xwindow and and pasting into word or wordpad by Ctrl + V. This is not working ? Need further help.
